Wellness · Manager Level · Full-Time
Wellness Program Manager

Full-time job opportunity in the Tulsa, OK metropolitan area. Main worksite location: 2160 S Garnett Rd, Tulsa, OK 74129. The Wellness Program Manager designs, implements, and oversees comprehensive wellness programming that supports the physical, emotional, and community well-being of UMA Tulsa participants. This role provides day-to-day leadership for wellness staff, volunteers, and contractors; ensures high-quality program delivery; and maintains alignment with organizational goals, safety standards, and grant requirements. This role is also responsible for wellness program budget planning and financial controls, including managing instructor/contractor rates and ensuring spending aligns with approved budgets, organizational policy, and grant allowability.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and support instructors, facilitators, volunteers, and contractors within the wellness portfolio.
  • Conduct performance check-ins and evaluations; set clear goals, expectations, and accountability measures.
  • Coordinate schedules, class coverage, and assignment of responsibilities.
  • Manage instructor, facilitator, contractor, and temporary staff rates within approved budget parameters; recommend rate adjustments based on scope, credentials, market benchmarks, and internal equity.
  • Ensure programming is culturally relevant, accessible, trauma-informed as appropriate, and evidence-based.
  • Monitor and document compliance with grant deliverables, outcomes, and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with administrative staff to collect, organize, and maintain program data required for grants.
  • Develop and manage the wellness program budget (annual and grant-specific), including forecasting, monthly variance monitoring, and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Coordinate marketing and communication strategies to promote wellness programs (social media, flyers, events, outreach).
  • Represent UMA Tulsa at community events, meetings, and outreach opportunities as needed.
  • Other related duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in public health, wellness, nutrition, physical therapy, or related field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • Requires at least one year of experience.
  • Salary is $80,829 per year.
